A spectacular debut for a spectacular destination! On March 13th, Empire Group had the distinct honor of celebrating the Grand Opening of the Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong. It was a magnificent night that officially ignited a vibrant new chapter of unscripted luxury and design-led hospitality in the heart of our dynamic city.

The celebration perfectly encapsulated the hotel's guiding philosophy: Global Flagship, Local Soul. The afternoon commenced with a traditional lion dance and eye-dotting ceremony, bringing dynamic energy and prosperity to our doors. Alongside our esteemed partner IHG, we then officially "took the helm" during a commemorative steering wheel ceremony, symbolizing our shared commitment to navigating this exciting new chapter together.

As the sun set, the festivities transitioned into an elegant evening reception. Following inspiring addresses from Empire Group Directors, Lesley and Jonathan Kwok, a symbolic Lighting Ceremony beautifully represented the passing of our architectural vision into the capable, hospitable hands of IHG. IHG Greater China CEO, Daniel Aylmer, then shared his remarks, celebrating our shared ambition to create a truly distinctive space where bold design meets genuine connection.

The rest of the night was an immersive journey through the hotel's unique, unscripted offerings. Our guests explored highly curated, Instagram-worthy experiences on the 41st floor, celebrated late into the night at the 50th-floor Swim Club, capturing 360-degree memories against the stunning skyline of Victoria Harbour and enjoyed rejuvenating retreats at the Angsana Spa.
